What’s On: London & Surrounding (November 2021)

With Halloween proving once more to be a heavyweight in the social calendar, November draws in with grace. This month does not allow for any easing up. Some absolute monster treats are landing in London and its surroundings in a pre-Christmas ramp up. 

November can often be a little quiet as the industry gears up for the busiest period of the year but, after a 2-year hiatus, the heavy-hitters keep rolling in.

Saturday, 6th November 

Boris Brejcha at Electric Brixton 

Line Up: Boris Brejcha | Ann Clue | Moritz Hofbauer | Theydream 

Boris Brejcha. “The man with the mask“, “King of high-tech minimal”; Boris has many names; but one thing is certain: He’s been celebrated as a superstar in South America for years and the hype about him in Europe has also grown out of proportion. This will be one BIG education in musical story-telling as Electric Brixton serves up an early November treat.

Friday, 12th November 

Fridays At EGG: Art E Fect W/ Iglesias 

Line Up: Iglesias | Art E Fect | Daive ++ 

The Fridays At Egg series always delivers on vibe when the show is stacked with such talent. Art E Fect takes over this instalment and welcomes the master of the groove – Iglesias to lead the line with support from the ever-growing in reputation STiR boss Daive. The famous middle floor at EGG will be rocking with stompers.

Night Tales Presents: Varhat b2b Janeret & Lauren Lo Sung

Need we say more? An incredible Night Tales selection. Underneath the archways of Hackney will be a night of minimal magic as French maestros Varhat and Janeret are joined by Lauren Lo Sung. An all-night long journey that will weave through many a path answering every musical question posed with aplomb.

Apollonia All Night at Fabric 

Line Up: Dan Ghenacia | Shonky | Dyed Soundorom 

Fabric has produced the goods again with another ‘all night’ showcase jaw-dropper, this time from Apollonia. 

Apollonia is a trio at the top of their game. This will be a masterclass in groovy house tunes and an irresistible and energetic track selection. Tickets will be hot property.

Disco Disco at Colours Hoxton 

Line Up: Guy Williams | Mr Doris | The 2 Bears ++ 

Disco Disco returns with another trip down memory lane, this time in collaboration with Flash as The Two Bears take centre stage. The duo formed of Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard and 1965 Records Raf Rundell is a safe bet for a great night as they merge their genre styles and deliver an explosion of funky frequencies.

April to July at E1 London 

Line Up: Jonas Saalbach | Hidden Empire | Fabian ++ 

April to July welcome two of the finest talents in the melodic House/ Techno scene. Heavyweights Hidden Empire (London Debut) & Jonas Saalbach land at E1’s famous Black Studio, alongside a2j residents Lorraînne, Nairo & Fabïan. A night of emotive and intergalactic techno is in store, delivered over one of the best sound systems around.

Jackmaster at The Green Room (Maidstone)

FUSE 13th Birthday at Printworks

FUSE always creates mayhem in London at the best of times. However, this is the 13th Birthday, it will move a little differently. LWE Presents: Enrico Sangiuliano at Village Underground

Italy’s finest, Enrico Sangiuliano, concludes a two-year absence from the Capital with a momentous return to Shoreditch’s treasured hideout, Village Underground. The Italian giant is a frequent face at many of the world’s biggest stages including Sonar, Awakenings and ADE, as well as stomping grounds – Tobacco Dock and Junction 2. Expect a frenzy of non-stop adrenaline-pumping magic.
