Who doesn’t love Halloween? The spookiest weekend of parties in the year. It’s a chance to move in the rave as your favourite Ghostbuster or, this year, a guard from Squid Game. 

Dress up or not, the weekend always provides some of the hottest events to attend. Here are our Mr. Afterparty hot picks for London and its neighbouring areas, covering the run-up to Halloween and the frightful night itself. 

Friday, 22nd October 

1985 Music at Fold 

Lineup – 1985 Music Invites. 

1985 is a platform for forward-thinking electronic music basing its roots in 170 / 85 BPM and beyond. The always-quirky movement returns to London for an exclusive showcase and an education in experiential dance music sound. One of our favourite London venues, FOLD, plays host.

Since the exit from lockdown, Fabric has got things right. The return has been action-packed, throwing punches left, right and centre. For the 22nd Birthday celebrations and 39 hours of music, an outrageous artist schedule will be showcased. Terry Francis, Cormac and Wes Baggaley join the already announced Craig Richards and Ricardo Villalobos – the club mainstays who make a welcome return after their fabric Room 1 reunion back in August, plus Gene On Earth, Sonja Moonear and Seth Troxler.

Mas Que Nada Presents: Plastician at Colours Hoxton 

Lineup – Plastician | Birdee | Phonk D | Mas Que Nada Brothers

Mas Que Nada has made a name for itself with vibrant shows, full of energy and verve. The house and disco-infused movement invites Plastician to throw down a full disco set and welcomes support from Phonk D and Birdee. Expect a stunning array of colours with beats to match as the Halloween weekend kicks off in feel-good style.

Saturday, 30th October 

Jamie Jones & LWE presents Tobacco Dock Halloween 

Lineup – Jamie Jones | Luciano | Skream | Archie Hamilton | wAFF | Miguel Campbell 

Roll out the fangs and frightening face paint as LWE returns to the hallowed chambers of Tobacco Dock on 30th October for a hair raising party two years in the making. 

Jamie Jones has been handed the task, to curate the all-day affair, for what is set to be the most mischievous Halloween frolic the Grade 1 listed warehouse has ever seen. An absolute monster lineup, packed full of star-studded talent. 

Don’t forget to check out the Mr. Afterparty hosted room, as we return to Tobacco Dock along with an array of fresh talent, featuring: ASH-R, Lily Rivers, Rennie Peters, Benjamin Buttons, and residents Knowhat and Miky J doing their special back2back.

Art Of Dark – Halloween at FOLD 

Lineup – Praslesh {Raresh and Praslea} | Colin Chiddle | Sohrab | VASS 

Rominimal heroes Raresh and Praslea lead the line in an extended set showcase for the well-respected and followed Art Of Dark. The minimal movement always provides a feast of wobbly beats & the Halloween edition will be no exception. FOLD provides the stunning backdrop for this treat on trick or treat eve.

Appetite’ Trick Or Treat?? Halloween Special at The Cause

Appetite goes all-in with a Halloween lineup full of vibe. The Cause will be rockin’ with Oden & Fatzo topping the bill. A wonderful cast of support from some of the brightest selectors around.

LOCUS: Halloween Rave at 93 Feet East

Decorating the dancefloor, LOCUS regular Rossi. leads the charge alongside the return of Josh Baker & Madvilla – fresh off the back of mind-blowing appearances across the Summer Series. INFUSE selectors Nick Beringer & Djebali make their LOCUS debuts, bringing their

signature house grooves for this special occasion. Unison Wax & Beste Modus label head Diego Krause returns to 93, alongside You&Me residents Local Dub.

Bamboleo at Village Underground 

Lineup – Neverdogs | Reelow | Ray Mono | Sebastien Ledher | Summer Ghemati 

The Bamboleros are at it again with a Halloween instalment full of gusto. Returning to their Village Underground home will see The Neverdogs paint East London in yellow for a Sunday Funday like no other. A talented selector crew in support will see the famed Bamboleo vibe take centre-stage once more.
