September surpassed expectations in the London rave scene. Parties gathered pace as many known movements returned to the dancefloor after two years of silence. 

After a 20-month hiatus, it was beautiful to see venues bustling with eager partygoers, finally allowed to let loose and provide ears with the candy that we have all craved. 

October is rolling in fast and means just one thing. Halloween. 

Today, we look at the upcoming music events in London and neighbouring towns, commanding the ‘must attend’ status from our famous Mr. Afterparty brand. Our selections cover the next three weeks to fill your party schedule and provide your pre-Halloween entertainment. 

Friday, October 1st

Andhim ‘All Night Long’ at Village Underground 

The Cologne natives descend on the UK capital with an all-night performance at the ever-popular Village Underground. A feast of ‘super house’, full of breaks and electro frequencies will be on show, coupled with the duo’s creativity blueprint. The night will create many a musical memory for future reference.

Familia at EGG

Familia at EGG 

The long-awaited return of the Familia collective is here. Techno is the order of the day, and it will be a supersonic dose of heat. Superclub, EGG, once more plays host to the Familia family as the likes of Fabio Ferro and Hito provide the sonics. Familia nights never disappoint. Expect a spectacular homecoming to kick off the post-pandemic programme.

Bamboleo at Village Underground

Bamboleo at Village Underground

Bambolievable! The Neverdogs label showcase returns to its London home for another Sunday Funday. A community of passionate, musically educated ravers will take over the Village Underground dancefloor. The Neverdogs have enlisted Sunwaves maestro Mahony, DeMarzo and, label resident Matteo Gatti to add extra spice to proceedings and serve up a roasting Sunday treat.

Saturday, October 9th 

Eastenderz at E1 

Lineup – East End Dubs | Djoko | Pascal Benjamin | Mihai Pol | Vlad Arapasu 

Eastenderz is always a ‘pin’ for the calendar. The East End Dubs movement returns to the capital with a hard-hitting line-up and a guaranteed vibe. With support from German cool-cat, Djoko and minimal hero Mihai Pol, a serious groove will be on offer at London’s E1 superclub.

Shonky at Night Tales

Shonky at Night Tales 

Berlin-based Shonky brings his undeniable groove to London with an all-night showcase at East London hotspot, Night Tales. The French DJ and Apollonia family member has gained international adoration over several years and touches down to lay down his masterful track selection.

Saturday, October 16th 

Suat at The Green Room, Maidstone – Kent

Suat at The Green Room, Maidstone - Kent 

Man of the moment, Suat, returns to Kent’s newest underground haven with support from our very own Daivé. Lockdown was made a little easier with the Suat performances around London’s iconic landmarks. The starvation of beats we adore was eased through the antics of the wonderfully light-hearted Suat craze. Expect those minimal tech beats from some serious selectors. If you are a lover of vibe, this is the event to respect it at.
