The famed party Trade celebrates its 30th anniversary with a spectacular club night at renowned London venue Egg LDN.
Speaking about next years celebrations, Laurence Malice, founder of Trade, said:
“Trade has always been a melting pot for its crowd and its music; I can’t wait to welcome back our Trade family and introduce new audiences to our journey through sound,”
The Trade club nights revolutionised dance music and the clubbing circuit in the UK when they landed on the queer underground circuit back in 1992. Fast forward 30-years and, they are a key component of London’s clubbing scene.
The 30th celebration will take on Saturday 12th February, with the line-up still to be confirmed. Trade have promised some “very special international guests” plus the Trade resident DJs delivering the renowned Trade vibe.
The party will be an all-night-long affair from Saturday lasting a mammoth 24 hours, celebrating in Egg LDN, where they hosted their 25th anniversary, keeping with tradition.
In July this year, Trade was commemorated with a plaque by Islington Pride, with the sign placed near the former dance institution Turnmills, which hosted the queer event from 1990 until 2002.
Next years celebration will be one of the most notable dates of the clubbing calendar in 2022.
