This battery-powered portable vinyl setup lets you play anywhere

A Japanese manufacturer is dropping a portable turntable and mixer trio in 2022. Stokyo’s ‘Complete DJ Set’ is based on the Columbia GP3 portable turntable, renowned throughout the 90s and early 2000s.

The setup enables users to play 7, 10 & 12-inch records, using pitch adjust functions, a crossfader and built-in speakers. The units, purchasable individually or as part of a package, are powered by batteries or AC.

Set for release sometime next year – the turntable costs $219.95 (£165.23), and the DJ mixer is $229.95 (£172.70).
