This year, an establishment dubbed the “most remote” nightclub in the world is opening on the secluded Scottish Isle of Coll.
The promoters at Detour Discotheque have created a music venue on the Isle of Coll, a small island located within the Inner Hebrides of Scotland.
Coll’s community centre is being transformed into a 250-person capacity nightclub, even though the island is home to only about 200 people.
Previously, Detour Discotheque has hosted parties on the “edge of the world” in Iceland.
The CalMac ferry from Oban will take you to the island for two consecutive nights, on the 22nd and 23rd of September.
Auntie Flo, Free Love, and Cosmic Ceilidh Band, all associated with the venue, have been announced as performers.
Jonny Ensall declared in a statement to DJ Mag that the Detour Discotheque had returned for another captivating weekend.
This year, a wormhole that appears at random locations on Earth is occurring on Coll, a small Scottish isle well-known for its star-studded night skies.
Bringing together disco-lovers and Coll residents for two nights of bliss amidst the beauty of nature with the Milky Way to behold above us – that is the idea of community.
