Strawberries & Creem Festival team up with Pioneer DJ for DJSUNLOCKED competition

One of the UK’s most forward-thinking festivals Strawberries & Creem are returning their DJSUNLOCKED competition for a second year, in partnership with Pioneer DJ.

The competition will give a budding new DJ talent the chance to perform at the 2022 edition of the festival.

The festival takes place in June, offering the winner a unique opportunity to win a set at the festival plus a Pioneer DJ set up.

Strawberries & Creem Festival’s mantra is ‘Champion Future’, with a commitment to sourcing and nurturing young UK music talent. Having already given the likes of ALISHA her first festival DJ set and Aitch the chance to jump on the mic as a special guest, it is clear to see the festival takes supporting new talent seriously.

The DJSUNLOCKED competition is looking for selectors who can demonstrate multi-genre spanning sets from Hip-Hop and Afrobeats to House and Techno, to Drum n Bass to reflect the festivals diverse music policy.

Entrants will need to submit a 10-minute mini-mix to the Strawberries & Creem website by 31st March HERE.

Once the deadline has closed, ten mixes will be selected as finalists by the Strawberries & Creem and Pioneer DJ judging panel – with two winners announced shortly after 8th August as selected by public vote.
