Staff Picks: Some of our favourite House & Techno releases from last week

Whether you’re updating your daily listening playlist or your setlist for an upcoming gig, most people are always on the hunt for new music. Thankfully, the relentless tide of House and Techno releases provides a perpetual rhythm of wonderful choices when on the hunt for the latest and greatest ‘bangers’.

March 2022 has been an impressive month to date; check out some of our favourite releases from the last week or so below:

Jonas Rathsman – Heartbeat [ELEMENTS]

In 2018 Jonas Rathsman created ELEMENTS, a movement inspired by his love of nature, worldly sounds and a desire to create intimate shows around the globe. Fast forward to a post-pandemic world, the established artist is re-energised creatively and announces a new single, ‘Heartbeat‘.

Disaia – Diamonds [Sola]

DJs and producers Disaia have earned their place in the Underground scene. The Spanish artists have grown rapidly and, in a short time, have managed to sign on the best-known labels in the world. Their latest release, ‘Diamonds‘, comes in a three-track bumper package on Solardo’s Sola imprint.

Adam Beyer – Dirty Lagoon [Drumcode]

Techno powerhouse and Drumcode frontman Adam Beyer needs no introduction whatsoever. The Swedish sensation has been a cornerstone of the genre for such an extended period now, repeatedly reminding us why he is one of the all-time greats. His latest release, ‘Dirty Lagoon‘ is another firm statement of intent, spread across three archetypal Beyer dancefloor bombs.

John Summit – La Danza [Defected]

Man of the moment and viral sensation; US hit-machine John Summit is back with another beauty. Renewing his status on one of House music’s premium stables, Defected, ‘La Danza‘ is an instant classic that will live long in the memory!

Jimi Jules – Too Far [Innervisions]

After releasing a string of marvellous tracks, Jimi Jules touches on all the right elements to make your dancing shoes move. With ‘Too Far‘ he keeps pushing the boundaries of electronic music with yet another beautifully written piece of work.
