Cova Santa has announced its first wave of headline artists for next month. The Amnesia-owned, outdoor Ibizan venue has dropped a series of July events and given a little insight into the performers on show.
The 2000 capacity venue is located in the beautiful countryside around an ancient cave network. The cave network acted as a refuge for smugglers, pirates and hippies and is documented with great detail as part of Ibiza’s history. Amnesia purchased the venue site back in 2001 and found prominence through Marco Carola’s Music On movement.
This year, the historical site welcomes a host of well-respected promoters. All Day I Dream, Pyramid, Do Not Sleep, Rumours, and Woo Moon are all involved and will be jetting in the likes of Sasha, Guy Gerber, Ricardo Villalobos, Lee Burridge, Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg and FINA Records’ Simon Morrell. Always keeping things fresh, performances from The White Island Orchestra – showcasing Ibiza classics – and Indie Pop band Sophie & The Giants curating an Italo & disco style set.
In line with government restrictions, all events will be sit-down only. Cova Santa has appointed four-time Michelin star chef Xavi Alba to design the menu in a well thought through event plan.
We all want to see events back without restriction. It is time to remain positive and support those that are thinking outside the box to bring us the entertainment we crave.
