Japanese music manufacturer Roland has just announced the launch of their GO:MIXER PRO-X, which is an update from the extremely popular GO:MIXER. The updated GO:MIXER PRO-X enables users to mix on the go for things like live streaming, recording podcasts, music videos, and more.
The original GO:MIXER had become popular with DJs and musicians throughout 2020 and allowed live streaming of DJ sets and performances as it connects directly to your iOS and Android devices.
The PRO-X has evolved its offering with support for Android devices and an optimised guitar and bass pad input with a selectable input pad for active pickups while also providing a feature to use a headset and in-ear mics like Airpods as an input.
All features from the PRO are included, such as AAA battery power, seven total inputs, an XLR input for mics, physical controls for each input and master volume. The mixer is supported by all major streaming platforms and mobile apps like Garageband, allowing for recording.
Other feature details include:
– Loopback function, enabling users to play along with backing tracks from your mobile device
– Three connection cables included: USB Micro-B to USB-C, USB Micro-B to Lightning, and TRRS to TRRS
– Palm-sized mixer for your mobile device
– Easy to use integration with cameras and live-streaming apps
– Compatible with Roland Zenbeats and other mobile music production apps
The GO:MIXER PRO-X will be available from August, more info here.
