Rising US talent Orly Gal launches her HDDNSYMBLS label with ‘Just Ise’

Orly Gal is an American artist whose sound focuses on driving techno, and she recently launched her new record label, HDDNSYMBLS.

HDDNSYMBLS’ first release focuses on an original production by Orly Gal, who has also worked with labels, including the likes of Kaiserdisco’s KD RAW. She is a core part of the Los Angeles techno scene, where she plays regularly at parties and events across the city.

Complementing her solo original is a remix by Insider, a longstanding producer who has been releasing techno since the ’90s when he worked with labels like the highly influential Music Man Records.

The title track ‘Just Ise’ opens the release with its building tension and frantic percussion that is layered with the hypnotics of an intense synth line and a thumping kick drum. Insider’s remix makes more prominent use of the original’s lead synth and creates a stripped-back groove with sharp hi-hats and crashing ride cymbals that draw reference from his classic ’90s style.
