Four Thirty Two have returned with an almighty statement release, label boss Richy Ahmed brings close friend and house and techno giant Jamie Jones in to collaborate, and boy oh boy, you are in for a treat.
Both Richy and Jamie have dominated events and festivals across the world over the past ten years, carrying the torch for Jamie’s renowned Paradise parties.
Jamie has gone on to become one of the most prolific producers in house and techno over the last decade, with a flurry of Beatport number ones releasing on MK’s Area 10, Defected, Drumcode, his own Hot Creations, and Thee Six Zero Recordings.
While Richy has trailblazed a path to the top of the house tree with his world-class selector skills alongside his Four Thirty Two label, which consistently delivers some of the best cutting-edge underground dance music around.
‘More Energy’ brings us the energy we have been missing from the dancefloors. A house groove packed with soul combined with a deep yet playful organ, topped off with the infectious vocal from Richy himself. A perfect club cut, sure to see a lot of action on club floors this summer.
‘I Need It’ offers up another club heavy cut, yet with a brighter piano-driven mood. The piano stabs really are at the core essence of this track, with sultry female vocals added in for good measure underpinned by a heavy-hitting 909 drum pattern. The outcome sexy, feel-good floor-filler.
If this wasn’t enough, the label has recruited two stunning remixes from German house maestro Butch and rising UK talent Ray Mono to round off what is an irresistible package.
Out now on Four Thirty Two.
