Bari local Qubiko has become synonymous with some of the most respected labels in dance music, including Toolroom, Edible and Defected.
Whilst he’s renowned for releases on some of the industry’s best-known stables, Qubiko’s label project Dansoo, which he runs in close collaboration with Sergio Cerruti’s Just Entertainment, has also become a home for some of his best stylistic works.
His latest release on Dansoo comes as a sensual Nu-Disco cut titled ‘Ordinary Mess‘. Building around laid-back rhythms and introspective musicality, its vocal-led persona provides the perfect soundtrack for both the dancefloor and personal consumption.
Qubiko says the rhythm of his latest work also becomes the rhythm of his day, an “ordinary disorder” that we all find ourselves experiencing at least once.
An undeniably feel-good Nu-Disco record with unlimited personality and ultimately easy on the ears, Qubiko’s ‘Ordinary Mess‘ is out now on Dansoo.
