Not one, but TWO new Serato controllers have been released into the market by Pioneer. The DDJ-Rev 1 and DDJ-Rev 7 both make their catalogue bow with some interesting features.
The new designs have a turntable layout, a fresh approach to the vinyl setups or eras past.
Perfect for DJs that use samples in their sets and like to scratch, the entry-level DDJ-REV-1 is £259. The more advanced DDJ-REV-7 is aimed at the pro-level market and is £1829.
Both models are available on Pioneer DJ’s website with the full spec.
With a 14-day trial of Serato DJ Pro, you are also provided with a Scratch Bank to store audio clips, and it has a Tracking Scratch feature.
The DDJ-REV7 includes 7-inch motorized jog wheels with a classic turntable feel due to its similar top plates and adjustable torque.
Both sides have a 3.5-inch jog display which shows waveforms and more.
Serato virtual deck continues to be a mainstay, where you can view track artwork or logo. A dual USB port is also continued to make it an easy transition between DJs.
