Pete Tong DJ Academy Announces Launch of Free Scholarship Program

The Pete Tong DJ Academy has just announced a scholarship plan that will give chosen applicants free access to their entire program.

To commemorate the Academy’s first full year of instruction – the new program offers 50 people the opportunity to be mentored by some of the most renowned DJs in the world, such as Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Jamie Jones, and Pete Tong. Those enrolled in the online course will get tutorials, tricks, advice, and knowledge from some of the best tutors in the industry. Plus, students have a shot at having their DJ mixes featured on Apple Music through the Future Talent series.

Mentors have been tasked with choosing a select few to benefit from the scholarship. Furthermore, these individuals will have the chance to compete in the Future Talent Awards, where the winner will be given the fantastic opportunity to spin with Pete Tong and other DJs at the renowned Dalt Villa in Ibiza this summer as part of IMS.

The student who wins the grand prize will be featured in the UK and US editions of DJ Mag, as well as on djmag.com. The other finalists can perform at events, get featured on the radio, and receive discounts and other benefits related to the Academy’s official partners, such as Defected and IMS.

DJ Mag will allot ten scholarship spots for The Pete Tong DJ Academy, split between six readers who applied and four community partners.

Tong commented on the scholarship program, exclaiming: “No matter where you hail from, this is a great opportunity for DJs who already have the basics down and are looking to go beyond, as well as those who wish to compete in the Future Talent Awards – all free of charge!”

From 24th February to 1st March, DJs from all places are encouraged to learn more and apply for the DJ Mag Scholarships.
