Numark has revealed a new standalone DJ hardware unit called the MixStream Pro.
The hardware unit can stream music from several sources including Beatport LINK, Beatsource LINK, TIDAL and SoundCloud Go+. To bypass any potential connectivity issues music is buffered to an internal memory system, avoiding dropouts.
Furthermore, the unit is compatible with Dropbox enabling you to store music and access it straight from the MixStream Pro via your Dropbox account, without the need for a computer.
If you want to connect the unit to a computer, you can do so with Denon DJ’s own PRIME DJ software. The DJ equipment also has two USB ports and an SD card slot to load your track collection onto the device.
If this isn’t enough to pique your interest, the unit includes two six-inch jogs, a seven-inch touch screen, three-band EQ, two-channel faders, eight performance pads for looping, hot cueing, built-in WiFi and high-quality speakers for on-the-go DJ’ing.
Incredibly this unit comes in at just under £500, considering the piece of equipment this is a pretty reasonable price. To find out more about the hardware and its full specifications visit the Numark website here.
