Last weekend saw the opening of the new nightclub Nebula in New York City.
The venue is 11,000 square feet across three floors, with a capacity of approximately 700 people. The dancefloor alone is 5,500 square feet, making it one of the cities largest nightclubs in history.
Nebula opened last Friday, 22nd October, kicking things off with a night of house music from GORDO, the house alias of DJ Carnage. On Saturday night, Purple Disco Machine rolled into town for a night of nu-disco, house, soul and funk.
The nightclub includes a mezzanine level, a lower level and three private clubrooms. Nebula also can change depending on the event and transform the venue space as a nod to renowned Manhattan clubbing venues from previous eras.
This weekend for Halloween, the club will see Malaa and Camelphat grace the decks to entertain the Manhattan crowds. Before the “grand opening party” on 5th November, with the lineup still to be announced.
The owners of Nebula, when asked about the venue, said:
“Nebula takes its cues from the interstellar, the club’s visionary design transports guests into different otherworldly immersive environments each week,”
