New festival Soft Planet to launch in Frankfurt

A new festival in Frankfurt, Germany is set to take place at the site of renowned former club Cocoon, now known as Zoom Club.

The festival titled Soft Planet Festival will launch on the 21st January 2022. It will run from 10 pm on the 21st January until 3 pm on the 22nd January.

EOS Radio will have the honour of broadcasting live from the small room after 2 am. The event also features some incredible talent including Eris Drew, Joy Orbison, rRoxymore, Aurora Halal, DJ SLYNGSHOT, DMX Krew, Helena Hauff, LYZZA and some b2b action from Shanti Celeste and Peach plus hot acts of the moment VTSS b2b with LSDXOXO.

The co-founder of Soft Planet spoke with RA recently, saying:

“We’re starting Soft Planet because we want to see a change in the Rhine-Main scene,”

“It reflects new programming and direction in a known surrounding and seeks to combine mutual empowerment and respect in comprehensive, global-minded club experiences… All sets in the small room from 2:AM will be broadcast live as part of a cooperation with EOS Radio. The idea is inspired from past techno eras (1990-2014) when hr3 Clubnight broadcasted from nights at Dorian Gray and Omen.”

The festival is produced by Stay Service in collaboration with the venue owners Zoom Club alongside support from radio partner EOS Radio.

Soft Planet will take place three times a year at the Zoom Club. The premise behind the festival is to “combine mutual empowerment and respect within a comprehensive, global-minded club experience.”

The first edition will incorporate a diverse array of electronic club music across two floors, with a combination of DJ and live sets.
