The Belgian government has told nightclubs they must test guests upon entrance so they can dance mask-free.

The Extrema Noir promoters have followed releasing a statement on their social media which read:

“The message we hoped we never had to write again, but here we are.

Due to the new government measures, we decided that Extrema Noir 2022 • XXL Indoor Edition cannot take place on the foreseen date. We are not able to provide you with an event of Extrema quality under the new measurements imposed by the government and are forced to postpone this edition to Saturday, December 17th, 2022. It is without a doubt that we will offer the same quality and lineup like you are used to.”
