Miane – Not Today [Realm Records]

Miane arrives on Realm Records with a fresh summer cut full of soulful vocals and groove.

Miane will be a relatively new name to some, but that certainly will not be the case for long. With a distinct and unique vibe, the Spanish DJ & producer is certainly stamping her authority on the scene right now.

She has been focussing heavily on production and mixes the best features of each house sub-genre with her use of vocals packed full of soul and funk, each tweaked with class and verve.

With recent releases on Blackbook Records, Moon Harbour and Repopulate Mars, the Spaniards latest cut – ‘Not Today’ – lands on Gorgon City’s Realm Records.

‘Not Today’ is a dancefloor filler packed full of groove. An infectious and soulful vocal wraps around a vibrant samba like drum pattern overlaying a baseline with a dark tinge. There are several layers to this track, keeping your interest throughout with short synth patterns and changeups. This track is primed for the summer festival circuit.

The Ibiza based talent has been making a real name for herself. Her reputation continues to grow from her use of soul, funk and r&b influences, and this offering delightfully plays to that notion.
