Spotify announced last week the arrival of a new feature on their platform, which will make it “even easier for users to connect, discover, and bond over the music they love with one another.”
Blend, a new and immersive feature (now available to both free and premium users), has been available in Beta since June.
Speaking about the new project, Arjun Narayen, Spotify’s Product Manager, said:
“Blend is one of the first products we’ve developed that require multi-user personalization, which has its unique challenges but also helps us create some really delightful experiences when we get it right. Each time I make a Blend with someone, there’s this awesome moment when we discover which artists and songs we both like and get to bond over how we discovered that artist or when we saw them in concert.”
Among the list of components to the new Blend experience, users can expect new cover art, taste match scores and shareable data stories – shareable across social channels.
To access Blend, you’ll need to visit the ‘Made For You’ section of the Spotify app.
