Making an illustrious return to the magical White Isle, Manumission owners Mike & Claire have revealed a cosmic new concept spread across five dates at San Antonio’s world-famous O Beach venue.
Perfectly timed alongside their upcoming exposé ‘The Motel’, their new off-planet club feature features an immersive narrative co-directing by Cirque du Soleil director Ben Potvin.
AiLIEN will appear as five individually-themed monthly editions: Intemperance (June), L’Amore (July), Intergalactica (August), E.T. Ecstasy (September) and Nirvana (October).

The event brings together some of the most respected names in entertainment production, including Liborio Capizzi (head designer for Gianfranco Ferre), Madonna’s show directors Rich+Tone Talauega, Hollywood film composer Mark Sayfritz, Brazilian multi-instrumentalist music producer Rey Vercosa with choreography from Jodie Blemings, known with his work with The Royal Opera House and Matthew Bourne.
Aside from the undoubtedly outlandish and positively gaudy aesthetic, combining all things theatrical, camp, outrageous, saucy, provocative and almost downright unimaginable – AiLIEN promises an equally stunning soundtrack, provided by renowned DJ Smokin Jo alongside emerging Barcelona talent Matteo Cortellaro. You can also expect live contributions from Genis Wylan on electric guitar and DJ Denny, vocals from Claire herself and her daughter Tallulah, performing stunning reimaginations of classics including 7 Nation Army and Song 2.
If we have learned anything from the Manumission stable in the past, it’s to expect wild, weird, wonderful, and then some – along with an absolutely stellar soundtrack and unforgettable production.
