Madjo Releases Mesmerising Remixes Package for ‘Women’

Madjo’s music has been highly praised by several notable publications, including ELLE, The Playground, GIGWISE, Sens Critique and RocknFool. The artist, who hails from Switzerland and Senegal, has been exposed internationally on radio stations like KXT in the US, Southern FM and Yass FM in Australia, and Radio France, FIP, and Radio Nova. Adding to her success – her compositions have been featured in popular television series such as ‘The Innocents’ and Disney’s ‘Good Trouble,’ and she was even invited to perform at the renowned Cannes Film Festival.

Introducing her latest music, Madjo has released ‘Women’, the lead single from her upcoming album ‘Rebellion’. Taking influence from Maya Angelou’s influential writing, ‘Letter to My Daughter’, this song celebrates female diversity, their various ancestries, distinctions, and long-lasting impacts. The music video, directed by Mai Hua, features a stunning collection of women displaying their individuality and delight. In a touching display, mothers and daughters of all ages emphasise and honour their shared potency.

After the single’s release, Madjo teamed up with VAPA, Superjava, and La Fine Equipe to create an EP of remixes for ‘Women’. This compilation provides a novel take on the inspiring song, featuring electronic rhythms, multiple genres, and alluring vibes suited for the dancefloor.
