Hi, what are you looking for?

Luke Alessi feat. Stereo MC’s – Matter EP [Mobilee]

Australia’s hottest rising melodic House star Luke Alessi joins forces with legendary Stereo MC’s to deliver his second EP on German imprint Mobilee.

It is clear to see why there is a buzz around Luke Alessi, having already released on esteemed labels Stil Vor Talent, A Tribe Called Kotori, and now a follow-up release on Mobilee, further demonstrating his appeal and consistency for delivering enchanting melodic house with a storytelling nature.

The EP kicks off with the lead single ‘Matter’, where Luke teams up with the renowned British electronic group Stereo MCs. ‘Matter’ is underpinned by an emphatic lead growing throughout the track, perfectly positioned alongside the vocal storytelling of the Stereo MCs. It truly encapsulates what is fast becoming Luke Alessi’s storytelling style.

Next up is the remix of ‘Matter’ from Innervisions/Connected artist Aaaron, hot off the back of his release on Dixon’s Transmoderna label in 2020. Aaaron delivers a deeper and silkier interpretation of the original, giving the elements greater space to breathe and bringing the vocal message a whole new dimension.

‘Tills Theme’ rounds off the EP in a similar fashion, an uplifting tale for the listener. The track is constructed through arpeggiated leads and winding elements. The track transports you to sunkissed days partying with the sand between your toes.

Matter EP is out now via Mobilee.
