Luis Miranda Unveils his ‘Morituri’ EP on KD Raw

Luis Miranda is back on Kaiserdisco’s KD RAW with three heavy-hitting techno tracks, plus a remix by DJ Dextro.

KD RAW has featured music from artists including Uncertain, Drumcomplex and Klaudia Gawlas. The second time Luis Miranda has dropped a solo EP via the record label, the release features three of his original tracks plus a remix by DJ Dextro.

DJ Dextro is a Portuguese artist who has released original music via KD RAW and works with other record labels such as UNCAGE, Suara and Naked Lunch.

All of the tracks on this release have hypnotic elements combined with ferocious percussion and looped vocals.

“Morituri” is the EP’s opening track, and it kickstarts proceedings with modulating synths, high-end thrashing percussion and a thundering kick drum. “Tarumba” is the second track, and it’s an energetic track with captivating vocal tones and pitched tom drums that intertwine with the frantic energy of the lead synth. “Tikis Mikis” is the last of the three originals, and it’s a jackin’ track with stabbing vocals and dubby synths underpinned by brisk percussion. DJ Dextro boxes off the release with a remix of Tikis Mikis that adds a thundering kick and swelling offbeat stab.
