Exciting times lie ahead for Newcastle, with the new superclub ‘The Lofts’ set to open this August. It is the biggest nightclub to open in Newcastle in the last decade, with a capacity of 1,500 over three rooms.
The Lofts boasts an innovative L-Acoustic sound system and a showstopping fully immersive light and visual production installation and will open on Friday, 27th August 2021.
The venue is run by renowned venue owners and promoters John Dance, Marty Smith, and Rob Seaman. Between the three of them, they have several decades of experience running iconic venues, including Café Mambo and Ibiza Rocks on the hallowed white isle of Ibiza.
Rob Seaman spoke about the exciting new superclub ahead of its opening, he said:
“We aim to build on the excellent reputation Newcastle already has and raise its profile still further. We are booking international artists from different genres and can mix up the styles on the same night in the different rooms. So we will have something to offer everyone at The Lofts and look forward to welcoming music fans not just from the local area but from throughout the UK.”
The opening night on Friday 27th August will see BBC Radio 1 legend and dance music gatekeeper Pete Tong headline alongside Horse Meat Disco, plus support from Charlie Hedges, Mighty Mouse, and Natasha Kitty Kat and local club residents John Dance, Jonny Burn and Kev Cannon.
Opening night tickets are now available on The Lofts website here.
