Veerus is an Italian artist known for his links to record labels such as Drumcode and Terminal M. He also runs his own record label Le Club and its latest release is an imprint debut from fellow Italian Clif Jack.
Clif Jack is a relative newcomer to the international techno scene, but he has already begun turning heads following a recent release on Deborah De Luca’s Solamente label.
His music can also be found on other record labels, including Simina Grigoriu’s Kuukou Records. This two-track release on Le Club showcases a dark and hypnotic sound with a peak-time energy.
‘Echoes of Tomorrow‘ kickstarts the release with a slow building intro leading towards an ambient breakdown section that finishes with the explosive introduction of the lead synth. With a brooding atmosphere and pads that twist and morph with modulation, its a hypnotic cut with captivating bursts from the dramatic lead synth.
The second is ‘I Should Do It‘, an intense cut with tantalising vocals and a euphoric breakdown section that provides shelter from the dark and driving atmosphere in its percussion. Its sweeping synths and acid bassline make the perfect combination for causing mayhem on the dancefloor.
