Printworks has announced its reopening weekend with some of the biggest promoters around to mark their return, after over a year without any events due to the pandemic.
‘Redacted’ will bring to life three different events spread across the 17th, 18th and 19th of September 2021 with a new concept aimed at “stripping it back to focus on the music”. There will be no line-up announcements for any of the dates, with the implementation of a no photos on the dance floor policy at each show. The focus will be on music paired with Printwork’s visual production with “no distractions, no media, just a carefully curated selection of world-class artists”, the press release states. You can, however, have an idea of what to expect as each event lists the promoters that came together in partnership to make it happen.
kicking things off with “a blend of purveyors of the underground” the Friday’s show will be mostly techno led, followed by Saturday with “heavy hitters & house-laden grooves” and finally closing on Sunday with DnB & Jungle, “high energy MCs, reloads, dynamic B2B and dnb crews”.
With this announcement, if everything goes as planned, we can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel, with the expectation of the whole nightlife industry set to reopen from the 21st of June.
