Romanian Techno artist Nusha is enjoying the fruits of her hard work over the years. Since 2007, she has experimented and refined her musical taste sharing stages with well-known artists and playing some of the biggest festivals globally.
Her movement-invoking performances, flooded with power and energy, inspire a solidarity environment full of positive vibes.
As a Producer, Nusha is equally passionate. Her unique sonic signature blends minimalistic beats with hard kicks and hypnotic melodies. Her work finds itself at home on a wealth of credible digital imprints, including Autektone, FeChrome and Orange Records.
As she moves towards the next chapter in her career, aided by copious opportunities to impact the global Techno scene, we caught up with Nusha ahead of her performance at One Day Music in Catania, Sicily, on 1st May:
Welcome, Nusha! We know you’ve already played many times in Italy during your career; what does bind you to this country, and what are your expectations on One Day Music Festival?
Hi! Thanks for having me! Super excited to be part of this well known festival in Catania.
Yes, I have played many times in Italy, and I love it. I always feel like home here. Latin people love to party. Their amazing energy and good vibe makes a great atmosphere, and this is what I’m expecting to get again here in Catania.
You’re now a well known international artist and rising. How much work does it take to reach this level, and what suggestions would you give to someone approaching this profession?
Thank you. There is a lot of work behind. I’ve done this for 15 years, and I have achieved all step by step, not overnight. My advice is: do it with passion, work hard, dream big and stay humble.
In light of the recent happenings in the world that have shaken and affected the music and entertainment sectors, how do you see the Techno scene in the next few years, and what do you think it needs doing to safeguard our industry?
There was two difficult years for our industry, but I am happy that we are back to normal again. I am not sure we will be able to predict or prevent such bad things that can happen, but I’m sure that the music industry will never die and the people will never stop dancing!
Can an artist play an important role with their contribution?
An artist important role is to keep the people connected through music and to try to perform and deliver good energy in any circumstances.
While thanking you for your time and looking forward to seeing you on stage at the Sundance Arena, can we ask you a special message for everyone coming to see you on 1st May?
Thanks for having me. It was a pleasure. I am very looking forward to see you at One Day Music. I will play some nice beats; you bring the Cannoli!
Nusha joins Âme, I Hate Models, Len Faki, Ilario Alicante, Phunkadelica & many more on 1st May in Catania, Sicily, for ONE DAY MUSIC. For tickets & more information, visit: https://www.onedaymusic.it
