The International Music Summit, renowned as a thought leadership platform within electronic dance music, has decided to postpone their 2021 Ibiza edition, given the uncertain climate surrounding the global pandemic.
Their responsibility as gatekeepers of the electronic dance music industry means they feel a responsibility to conduct themselves professionally and one which puts the safety of their patrons first.
As a result of this decision, the IMS Ibiza edition will return on 27th April 2022, running until 1st May 2022.
The event will bring together industry professionals, curating a programme of engaging and diverse discussions to help the industry get back on its feet and navigate the post-COVID landscape.
The 2022 edition will be hosted at Destino Pacha Resort, exclusively for attendees only. The summit will include panels of renowned industry professional and thought leaders discussing the industries key issues and topics, technology showcasing new tech in dance music, IMS College Education Zone – designed to inspire and motivate the next generation of talent, from musicians through to business professionals.
Other unique concepts at the summit ARETÉ the IMS wellness platform, 1-2-1 speed networking sessions providing access to promoters, agents and bookers, access to Ibiza opening parties across the island and SheSaidSo host safe space with a curated content series.
The most anticipated part of IMS is the highly celebrated closing party at Dalt Vila on 01st May 2022. Past Dalt Vila line ups have included the exceptional talents of Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Peggy Gou, Sven Vath, Adam Beyer, Charlotte de Witte, to name a few. It is set to be an explosive one after a two-year hiatus; we cannot wait!
The return is one to add to your calendars in 2022; more information will be released soon. In the meantime, you can subscribe to the IMS newsletter or follow them on social media for updates.
