Eight people were arrested on a Goa-bound cruise liner after India’s Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided the ship and seized an incredible amount of narcotic substances and cash.
Over 800 passengers were on board the Cordelia cruise ship. Two hundred people then made the decision post-raid to not continue with the trip. Several high-profile DJs were among the invitees to the cruise liner rave. The list also included several Indian celebrities.
The NCB bombarded the Cordelia ship around 1 PM on the boats first sailing day. The seize, dubbed as enormous, was hardly that with only 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas (a cannabis concentrate), 22 MDMA pills, and 5 grams of mephedrone, in addition to more than 130,000 Indian rupees, or around USD 1,742.85 in cash. Hardly the scalp.
Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, including his friends Arbaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, were all detained by the NCB and face court appearances. Nupur Satija, Ishmeet Chadha, Mohak Jaiswal, Gomit Chopra and Vikrant Chhokar were also among the eight taken into custody, The Hindu reports.
