Dr. Motte & Jam El Mar Release Rave The Planet Parade 2023 Anthem

The Rave The Planet Parade is quickly approaching, and its official anthem has been revealed.

This year’s slogan of “Music Is The Answer” was honoured with a song recorded by Dr. Motte, the father of the renowned Berlin Love Parade, Jam El Mar (Jam & Spoon), and Ellen from Rave The Planet, providing the vocals. 

The anthem is a tribute to the parade’s values; it includes a hard-hitting Techno kickdrum, intense rave stabs, mesmerizing arpeggios, and distorted vocals, all riding atop a classic acid-flavoured yet modern bassline.

“We already had an anthem for the first Rave The Planet Parade in Berlin in 2022 and wanted to have an anthem again this year. This year the motto is “Music is the answer”. Because techno is a non-verbal dance culture. That’s why music is our language. With it we express, each in our own way, peace, love and tolerance. I simply asked Jam El Mar if he would like to produce the anthem for the Rave The Planet Parade 2023 with me. We then went to his studio in Frankfurt and later Ellen sang the lyrics to it. We would be very happy to hear the anthem on many trucks and DJ sets this year. Thank you to everyone who is helping to make the parade in Berlin possible again. Music is the answer!” – Dr Motte

This colossal event and open-air concert have a fundamental motto: “Peace, Love, Tolerance”. All the revenue made from the sales and streaming of this project goes straight to the non-profit program of Rave The Planet’s aims: to guard techno culture as a UNESCO Intangible Heritage and to keep the spirit of the Berlin Love Parade alive with the new, big Rave The Planet Parade – on July 8th, 2023 in Berlin.
