Demi Riquísimo Drops ‘Proto Call’ on DJ Tennis’ Life And Death Imprint

Semi Delicious label frontman Demi Riquísimo is back with his second release of 2023, coming in hot via DJ Tennis’ renowned Life and Death label. 

Demi’s ‘Proto Call’ EP is the latest in an impressive run of highlights over the last 12 months, which have included a debut at Circoloco Ibiza on New Year’s Day, an incredible b2b set with DJ Tennis at ADE last year, an impressive guest mix with renowned New York-based radio station The Lot, and the launch of his A Lifetime On The Hips – a sub-label to his Semi Delicious imprint. 

The release starts with the title cut ‘Proto Call’, a multifaceted track combining disco percussion with old-school Italian house elements, acid, and progressive sounds while maintaining the signature propulsive beat typical to Life And Death’s repertoire.

Conversely, ‘Talk To Frank’ is a dance-ready piece with sultry vocals and an inviting organ melody. It combines subtle acid grooves and a classic house bass line, all working together to create a rhythmic party starter.
