One of the world’s premier electronic music promoters, Creamfields, has announced the launch of a brand new 50,000 capacity festival due in 2022.
The festival will take place at the incredible Grade II listed Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex. It will be a multi-stage festival set against the magnificent Hylands villa backdrop.
Festival-goers will also get the chance to experience the iconic 15,000 capacity Steel Yard superstructure, originally created for Creamfields, Daresbury festival and has hosted massive productions like Eric Prydz Epic and Holo shows.
The festival is scheduled for Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th June 2022, the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend celebrating her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Creamfields Chelmsford will be a two-day camping festival, described by the promoters as a “game-changer for the UK festival landscape”. It is also launching in the 25th year of the sister festival Creamfields Daresbury, Cheshire, held annually across the late-August bank holiday, making it a fitting time to introduce an exciting new UK festival to the Creamfields family.
