Better Days: The Story of UK Rave

‘Better Days’ explores three decades of British raving, from the second summer of love right through to illegal pandemic parties.

Amazon Music recently became home to the latest piece of British cultural nostalgia – Better Days: The Story of UK Rave.

The documentary, which explores the history of the UK scene from the late 80s until the modern-day, is available to stream now. 

Directed by MOBO-nominated Hugo Jenkins, ‘Better Days’ explores the 30+ year history of the UK’s iconic rave culture. The film features contributions from a host of pioneering electronic artists Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll, Colin Dale and Luka Unabomber, alongside newer faces in the form of Afrodeutsche, Denis Sulta, TSHA, SHERELLE, Prospa, and more. 

Better Days: The Story of UK Rave also features a bespoke score by Overmono, alongside two exclusive cuts: Orbital – Chime (Special Request Remix) and Dance System – Better Days feat. Rush Davis.
