Berlin’s ban on dancing indoors has been overturned, meaning those vaccinated against or recently recovered from COVID-19 are free to party again.
As reported by RBB, the court recently ruled that the German capital’s Covid restrictions were fair and sensible but “likely to be disproportionate” when considering those vaccinated or recently recovered from the virus.
The repeal means that the ban on indoor dancing has been lifted, but only for people that fall into one of those two scenarios.
The overturn comes as the result of a venue owner suing the government over its restrictions. Although this is brilliant news for many, there is still the possibility of an appeal at the Higher Administrative Court Of Berlin-Brandenburg.
