Beatport launches new subscription plan

Premier underground dance music store Beatport has revealed a new subscription plan. The plan lets users access its catalogue of 9m+ tracks in their BeatportDJ app.

The app was launched earlier this year it’s a DJ software program inside your web browser. BeatportDJ is compatible with MIDI controllers, giving you the choice to link your controller to any computer and begin DJing, with no need to download additional software.

The new plan costs $9.99 a month, giving you access to the app, both in browser and iOS, where you can DJ and create playlists with their 9m track catalogue.

In the past, a Beatport LINK subscription was required to access BeatportDJ. If you want to use the LINK software and hardware out of the app, access the playlists you make, you will be required to upgrade to a LINK or LINK Pro subscription costing €14.99 a month.

The BeatportDJ app comes with DJ software including two decks, crossfader, three-band EQ for each channel, FX, playlists and an HP and LP filter for each channel.
