Beatport joins forces with Loopcloud, Beatsource, LabelRadar and Plugin Boutique for the 2021 global producer challenge

Beatport, Beatsource, LabelRadar, Loopcloud and Plugin Boutique unite to bring us the latest global producer challenge following its successful 2020 inception. It represents the biggest music production challenge of the year so far!

Before entering the competition, producers can download a ‘participant pack’ to create an original track. Every entrant can take advantage of the free plugins, sounds, music services and courses worth over $200. Once the track is ready, simply upload it to LabelRadar before the July 15th deadline (23:59 PT) to be in with the chance to become the next production superstar.

Six genres will be primed for the battle, and thirty finalists will be selected on August the 6th. Individual finalists will receive $2500 worth of equipment or services from Beatport, Beatsource, Loopcloud, Plugin Boutique, Producer Tech, Cloudbounce, iZotope, Softube and Ujam.

Five finalists from each genre will be considered for a full release and promotional campaign package via Def Jam Recordings, Spinnin’ Records, Shogun Audio, Rekids, Nervous or DJ City Records. The fun does not stop there. Each finalist will then go head-to-head in a public vote to win the dream grand prize – an audio setup worth $30,000.
