DJs, musicians and other music industry professionals will partake in a charity bike ride spanning over 300 miles from London to Amsterdam Dance Event in October.
This year’s ride will be the sixth of its kind, hosted by music charity Bridges For Music. All proceeds will go to the charity Choose Love for refugees fleeing Ukraine. Pioneer DJ are sponsoring the event and offering riders the chance to kit themselves in Pioneer DJ gear.
The journey begins at Resident Advisor’s Shoreditch HQ in London on 16th October, lasting four days, arriving in Amsterdam on 19th October – allowing riders plenty of time to get in amongst the ADE festivities.
Previous events have seen some acclaimed industry names, including artists like Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn, Chris Liebing, Pan-Pot, Uner, Rebekah, Juliet Fox, and Jamiee. The charity has raised over 200,000 euros from challenges such as this one.
Cycling participants must register for the charity event at an early bird price of €800 (£669), which covers accommodation, breakfast, and energy snacks, as well as an official ADE kit, bike return to London, luggage transport, a welcome lunch at ADE, and an ADE pro pass.
