The old paper printing factory turned into one of London’s premier clubbing hotspots back in 2017 and have announced the room addition ahead of their 2021 opening.
The new space is named Inkwells. It is located below the main hall and will act as a third room for events when the club reopens for its Autumn/Winter schedule next month.
The industrial aesthetic remains and keeps the flow with the other venue rooms. The Inkwells character comes from its backstory, playing host to giant ink tanks, a vital cog in the operation wheel. This third space has low ceilings and abrupt concrete pillars. Lighting will emphasise the architecture of the space, Printworks has said.
The extra room will enable more clubbers than ever to experience this gem of a clubbing venue. It further enhances Printwork’s reputation as one of London’s premier venues.
AW21 will reopen on Friday 17th September with a SOLD OUT Redacted show. October highlights include Adam Beyer, Bart Skils, Claptone and Graeme Park.
